The latest Permian to the earliest Middle Triassic witnessed the most severe global extinctions and a multiphasic and variable biotic recovery across clades. Chemical and physical environmental fluctuations were usually involved in the different phases and mechanisms of the recovery. We invite presentations that address biotic and abiotic patterns and processes both at the short or long timescale, and at local or global scales. Emphasis will be on multidisciplinary approaches that consider biotic, chemical or physical indicators, their relative magnitude and rate of change, and how these distinguish natural subdivisions. Studies that challenge the traditional views of this interval are welcome.
